Avl\u00e4gsna det yttersta skalet med en potatisskalare eller liknande. Sk\u00e4r sedan skalen i n\u00e5lfina strimlor och l\u00e4gg i en stor kastrull. Skala bort allt det vita fr\u00e5n frukterna och sk\u00e4r sedan dessa i sm\u00e5 bitar. L\u00e4gg \u00f6ver i kastrullen med de strimlade skalen. Tills\u00e4tt vattnet och koka upp och l\u00e5t koka ca 1 timme. Tills\u00e4tt sockret och l\u00e5t allt koka i ytterligare ca 15 min under omr\u00f6rning. G\u00f6r ett marmeladprov genom att l\u00e4gga en sked av marmeladen p\u00e5 ett kallt fat och dra en sked igenom. Rinner marmeladen ihop direkt beh\u00f6ver den koka lite l\u00e4ngre. H\u00e4ll marmeladen p\u00e5 varma, v\u00e4l rengjorda, burkar, s\u00e4tt genast p\u00e5 ett lock och v\u00e4nd burkarna upp och ner.
